ICube invites researchers, young scientists and industry representatives to two events organised within the Interreg UpQuantVal project, taking place at the Department of Physics, University of Basel, on 10–11 September 2026.
The events are organised by the UpQuantVal Consortium and NCCR SPIN, with contributions from partners involved in the development of quantum research and innovation across the Upper Rhine region.
10 September 2026
12:00–20:00
The programme will introduce key developments in quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum communication, followed by discussions on education and The Quantum Industry Chat is aimed at industry participants and will cover current developments in quantum computing, quantum sensing and quantum communication. The programme will also address education and training opportunities in quantum technologies and include a panel discussion on the development of the quantum ecosystem.
11 September 2026
09:00–14:00
The UpQuantVal Scientific Conference will present recent results and research in quantum computing, quantum sensing and quantum algorithms, with contributions from the Upper Rhine Valley and beyond.
The programme will also include a panel discussion on future research priorities and cross-border collaboration, as well as presentations by young researchers.
Registration is free and open until September 2nd 2026.
