Innovate with ICube
Innovation means creating a new technology, product, or service.
Achieving this requires close, tailored collaboration between multiple partners. The laboratory has extensive experience in this area, driving collaborative research with public and private partners across all socio-economic sectors. Different collaboration models can be adapted to your needs:
- Leverage existing solutions
Companies can benefit from proven, low-risk solutions developed at the laboratory. ICube holds a portfolio of over 200 active patents.
- Generate new results through research services
Commissioned research spans multiple activities, including technology scouting, experimental characterization, feasibility studies, and hardware or software proof-of-concepts. It provides partners with deliverables tailored to their specific needs, along with full intellectual property rights. ICube’s technological platforms are open to collaboration with external partners.
- Co-develop solutions
Custom solutions can be designed and implemented jointly. Direct bilateral collaboration allow partners to co-create innovative programs, structured around company timelines. The Research Collaboration Tax Credit (CICo) can support these initiatives.
CIFRE PhD programs enable three-year projects with a doctoral student simultaneously integrated into both the laboratory and the company. ICube also has experience in establishing industrial chairs and joint laboratories, enabling long-term collaborations with co-developed roadmaps that are aligned to corporate strategy.
