ICube is committed to reducing its impact on the climate in its day-to-day operations and through its research activities.
Since 2020, two sustainability officers have been steering the laboratory’s sustainable development strategy.
This approach is built around three complementary approaches:
- Analyze and understand to drive progress
An assessment of the energy performance of our facilities has been completed.
A carbon footprint report of our activities is also underway, using the GES 1point5 tool, which enables research laboratories to measure their greenhouse gas emissions. - Inform and engage our teams
Awareness-raising initiatives have been organised in the form of seminars, addressing topics such as digital sobriety and low-impact digital practices.
These collective discussions encourage staff to adopt more sustainable behavior. - Commit to collective action
The laboratory takes part in concrete initiatives, such as the “Au boulot à vélo” (Bike to Work) challenge.
It is also a member of the Labos 1point5network, which brings together research laboratories committed to ecological transition.
