ICube and its ecosystem for innovation
Collaborating with ICube offers the opportunity to leverage the expertise of a leading laboratory, gathering together over 700 researchers, as well as cutting-edge technological platforms.
It also means benefiting from a strong academic network, as the laboratory collaborates with numerous research institutes and laboratories at the local, national, and international levels.
Finally, it allows access to a rich innovation ecosystem in Strasbourg and in the Grand Est region, supporting the successful realization of projects. ICube is thus a partner of:
- The Quest for Change incubator network, particularly the SEMIA incubator, with over 25 years of experience supporting projects in healthcare, digital technologies, and industry.
- SATT Conectus, assisting companies and the laboratory in establishing a secure legal framework for collaboration, advising on the best formats for innovation, and supporting project maturation.
- The Alsace University Innovation Hub (PUI-A), supporting project scouting, networking, and facilitating access to innovation support mechanisms.
- The Carnot Télécom & Société Numérique Institute (TSN), the leading Carnot Institute in France in the digital domain, with over 1900 researchers nationwide.
- Competitiveness clusters Biovalley France, Aquanova, Véhicule du Futur supporting the development of solutions in healthcare, water, and mobility markets, respectively.
- CNRS Innovation, ith extensive expertise in supporting the emergence of innovative projects.
The ecosystem surrounding ICube thus enables innovations to be developped in a collective manner and provides human and financial support for the initial stages and the maturation of innovative solutions.
Since its creation, 8 start-ups have been launched from innovations developed by ICube researchers, and SATT Conectus manages more than 125 active contracts each year.
