The laboratory is implementing a quality management system to consolidate its operations and continuously improve the services provided to its members and partners.
As part of this effort, the laboratory’s seven technological platforms have been certified by the University of Strasbourg in partnership with the CNRS and INSERM under the CORTECS program. A continuous improvement and quality management initiative is ongoing in close coordination with the University of Strasbourg.
In particular, the SERTIT platform is ISO 9001 certified by AFNOR for all its activities. This certification covers the production of geo-information for crisis and emergency situations, including natural hazards, post-event rehabilitation, forest management, land-use planning, and monitoring of water surfaces. It also applies to the design and delivery of geoinformatics training programs and the development of innovative applications in Earth observation.
