Title : Beacon-based deployement system for an autonomous mobile robot

Abstract : This thesis is part of a project dedicated to the deployment of an autonomous mobile robot. The developed system is based on radiofrequency beacons providing range measurements. In this context, different contributions on the localization, simultaneous localization and mapping, and beacon placement problem based on this kind of sensor are presented.

The jury was composed by : Mr. JAULIN Luc, PR ENSTA Bretagne, Mr. BONNIFAIT Philippe, PR UTC, Mr. GARCIA Gaetan, MCF Centrale Nantes school, Mr. BAYLE Bernard, PR University of Strasbourg, Mr. LAROCHE Edouard, PR University of Strasbourg (director) and Mr. KERMORGANT Olivier, MCF Centrale Nantes school.

This PhD defense will be held on Monday 25th september 2017 at 10.30am in the room A301 at the pole API building in Illkirch.
