Title : Novel Differential Estimator based on Nonlinear Control Technique

Team : AVR

Abstract : Differential value estimation is required for many fields. However it is difficult to estimate differential value from actual signal with noise. In case of Gaussian noise, linear filter works effectively to eliminate the noise. However, in case of impulsive noise, linear filter does not work effectively. Our research group propose a novel differential value estimator that is based on nonlinear control technique. It works effectively to eliminate impulsive noise and estimate differential value simultaneously. In this presentation, I'll introduce some example to apply the estimator to robot applications.
